Very distinctive, healthy rose about 1.2m tall, with a bushy upright habit and mid-green leaves. Loose clusters of very fragrant, dianthus-like, small, semi-double, feathered and frilly white blooms blushed pale pink, with prominent pale yellow anthers repeat-flower through summer to autumn; introduced in 1891

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or part shade. Mulch with well-rotted organic matter in late winter or early spring, and for best flowering apply a general rose or shrub fertiliser in early spring and again in early summer. See rose cultivation
