The Landform Balcony Garden

Balcony Gardens

In more detail

  • The balcony buzzes with wildlife with hyssop, yarrows and salvias providing much-needed nectar for insects
  • A Heptacodium miconioides (seven son tree) provides height and a stunning scent while a Cornelian cherry gives the balcony symmetry

About the garden

This is a place for the homeowner to relax and entertain with early modernist architecture inspiring the craftsmanship and detailing of the planters. The plant choices, primarily for pollinators, provide a habitat that contributes to the valuable wildlife corridors in our cities. The palette is bright and sunny, using colours attractive to honey, bumble and solitary bees.
