The Art and Nature of a Port Sunlight Garden

Back to Back Gardens
This formal and romantic garden is inspired by the unique gardens of the historic Port Sunlight Village in Merseyside.

A central linear path made from reclaimed York stone leads the visitor through the garden to a seating area, located under an arch of fragrant climbing roses.

Visitors can sit back and enjoy the wild and rich planting of the garden. Its pink and purple colour scheme features delphiniums and phlox softened with feathery Stipa tenuissima grasses and punctuated throughout with large topiary spheres.
