From late winter snowdrops, crocus and iris reticulata bring splashes of springtime hope, and are followed by swathes of daffodils in yellow and white, plus the beautiful blue of Muscari armeniacum and tall, flamboyant imperial fritillaries Fritillaria imperialis (pictured above) in orange and yellow.
