A vigorous, angular, rambler rose about 3m tall, withdark brown stems bearing hooked thorns and healthy, glossy dark green leaves. Large, slightly scented, single, papery dark pink to red blooms, with prominent creamy-yellow stamens, repeart-flower from early summer to autumn

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Mulch with well-rotted organic matter in late winter or early spring, and for best flowering apply a general rose or shrub fertiliser in early spring and again in early summer. Suited to shade and a north-facing aspect in a sheltered spot. See rose cultivation
