Vigorous, upright climbing rose about 3m tall, with stiff, branching stems and large dark green leaves. Very large, slightly scented, single, cupped blooms of glowing pale pink, tinted peach with golden stamens are once-flowering in midsummer then followed by orange-red fruits (hips)

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun, or light shade, suited to north walls and makes a good pillar rose. Mulch with well-rotted organic matter in late winter or early spring, and for best flowering apply a general rose or shrub fertiliser in early spring and again in early summer. See rose cultivation

Propagate by hardwood cuttings in autumn, softwood cuttings (under glass) in spring or summer or by chip budding in summer
