Strong, vigorous old garden rose about 1.5m tall, with bright mid-green, matt foliage. Very fragrant, fully double, pure white blooms to 10cm across, opening quartered, the central petals folded inwards to display a green button-eye, once-flowering in midsummer; Hardy 1832

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in full sun with fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. For best flowering apply a balanced fertiliser and mulch in late winter or early spring. Tolerant of poor soil, shade and suitable for hedging. See rose cultivation for further advice
