Vigorous rambler rose about 4.5m tall, with healthy, dark green leathery foliage on very thorny stems. Clusters of apple blossom-like, single pale pinkish-white blooms veined pink, with prominent yellow anthers are slightly fragrant, and appear in mid to late summer, followed by reddish-orange fruits (hips); ideal for climbing into large trees

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or part shade, suitable for north walls and trained into large trees. Mulch with well-rotted organic matter in late winter or early spring, and for best flowering apply a general rose or shrub fertiliser in early spring and again in early summer. See rose cultivation
