Through the Looking Glass

Show Gardens
This space is for a large family who want to spend time together and entertain outside, as well as enjoy time out from the hustle of life. The large plot is split across two levels and provides the occupants with a contemporary and stylish formal garden, and also a more unusual informal space.

The design contains classic garden elements such as a lawn, pond and paved area. It also includes more unusual features, including a Solarlux garden room, which provides shelter from inclement weather and also opens up to become a covered outdoor space. An outdoor kitchen allows the family to fully utilise the garden and make the most of summer, spending as much time outside as possible.

The sculptural arches are both artistic and functional, separating the garden into rooms. Some of the archways frame moving glass walls, which change the view within and provide seclusion and individual spaces for the family.

The lower garden has a separate theme and feel. This area is enclosed and private. The planting is also different here.
