Designed to display the craftsmanship of Final5, this small urban garden is a retreat for a young professional couple, an escape on summer evenings and at weekends.
Privacy and a sense of enclosure are provided by two steel louvered panels, clipped hornbeam hedge and a steel pergola with retractable shade. The steel panel is a backdrop for the architectural multi-stemmed birch, which offers dappled shade over the paved seating area. The planting in gravel provides colour and texture and there is the sound and movement of water.
