How to grow

Cultivation

Grow in a deep, well-drained, ideally neutral, soil in a sunny, sheltered position. Plant outside between late autumn and early spring. Mulch with well-rotted compost or manure in the first years after planting, and train as required. Irrigate newly-planted vines in dry periods during the spring and summer. Propagate by hardwood cuttings or grafting onto Phylloxera resistant rootstock
