A lax, spreading shrub rose, to about 1m high but twice as much across, with dark grey-green leaves. Large clusters of rounded, cupped, semi-double, pink blooms, 5cm across, are produced along the thorny branches in one flush in summer

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grows best in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in a sunny, open position. Mulch in late winter and, to improve flowering, apply a balanced fertiliser in late winter or early spring. See rose cultivation

Propagate by semi-ripe cuttings in late summer or hardwood cuttings in autumn, or by T-budding in summer
